- Display name
- Profile photo (if provided through Google OAuth)
- User ID (Firebase Authentication)
Usage Information:
- Wallet addresses you search
- Search history (stored locally on your device)
- Credits purchased and used
- Reports submitted
- Checks performed
Report Information:
- Wallet addresses reported
- Transaction hashes
- Amounts and currencies
- Descriptions and evidence images (temporarily stored for review, deleted after approval/rejection)
- Network information
Device Information:
- Device type and operating system
- App version
- Local storage data (AsyncStorage)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the App
- Process and review reports
- Manage your account and credits
- Communicate with you about your account and reports
- Improve the App and develop new features
- Ensure security and prevent fraud
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
Public Reports:
- Approved reports are visible to all users
- Public reports include: wallet address, transaction hash, amount, and description
- Evidence images are NOT shared publicly - they are used only for internal review and are deleted after approval/rejection
- Your personal information (email, name) is NOT included in public reports
Service Providers:
- We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, and storage
- Firebase processes data according to Google's Privacy Policy
- We may use other service providers to help operate the App
Legal Requirements:
- We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights
- We may share information to comply with legal processes or government requests
5. Data Storage and Security
Data Storage:
- Account data is stored in Firebase Firestore
- Evidence images are temporarily stored in Firebase Storage during report review and are automatically deleted after approval or rejection
- Search history is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage
- Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS
Security Measures:
- We implement security measures to protect your information
- However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure
- We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data
6. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
Firebase (Google):
Expo:
- App development platform
- Subject to Expo's Privacy Policy
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your information:
- Access: You can access your account information through the App
- Correction: You can update your account information in the App
- Deletion: You can request deletion of your account by contacting support
- Opt-Out: You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time
- Local Data: You can clear local search history by clearing app data
Note: Approved reports will remain in the database (without your personal information) to protect other users.
8. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account:
- Your personal information (email, name) will be removed
- Your account data (credits, checks, reports count) will be deleted
- Your approved reports will remain in the database (anonymized, without your personal information)
- Local search history on your device will be removed when you delete the app
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
10. International Users
The App is operated from various locations. If you are using the App from outside the United States, please note that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our servers are located.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by:
- Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Sending you an email notification (if applicable)
Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
